Life Book 2016 Blog Hop & Give Away!

Hello everyone!

So as I have mentioned in the previous post, I will be teaching on Life Book 2016  next year, yay! This has really been a dream come true.

And what is really exciting news is that I can give away 1 space on this amazing year long art course! Keep reading if you want to find out more about Life Book 2016 and if you want to find out how you can win a spot! 🙂

First let me tell you a bit more about Life Book in case you haven’t heard about it yet!

“Life Book, a celebration and honouring of YOU” is a year-long mixed media art class organised by Tamara Laporte from Willowing Arts.

Tam is joined by 23 incredible art teachers who are all gearing up to share their mixed media techniques, tips and tricks with YOU! Themed around self-development and healing, you’ll be creating several loose mixed media art journal pages per month which by the end of the year you will bind into a glorious journal (a Life Book)! You will have a wonderful keepsake that you can treasure for the rest of your life!

I haven’t fully developed my class idea yet, but I’m excited to be sharing xyz technique/ theme/ style with you, much like you can see in this painting:

Registration opens on October 5th 2015 and the class begins on January 1st 2016.

  1. Hi Ranata! I would love to win a spot in the LB 2016 class. Through Tam, I understand the value of exploring myself and my feelings, through art and I would love to participate in LB to do exactly that. The last few years have been very difficult and plagued with personal losses, but it’s time to turn a corner and I can’t think of a better way to start a new year than to start it with the journey through LB with other like minded souls.   7. There seem to be so many creative ideas in my mind, but when it comes to expressing them I feel unable to do so. I’m feeling blocked so to speak. And I’d love to be a part of the Life Book 2016 class because I know that it would be an amazing and life changing experience. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

  10. I would so much like to win a spot in the Life Book 2016 class because I want to learn new techniques from so many wonderful teachers AND from other students in the class this year. Unless I win a spot in the class, I will be unable to enroll this year – for various financial reasons. Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  21. Hi Renata! Your work is absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to learn from you! When I first discovered lifebook, last year, it’s like I was introduced to a whole new world. I had been in a world where adults didn’t “do art” unless they were a professional artist. I thought I was the only one doodling and craving creativity in my life. I’m so thankful to know there’s so many beautiful artists out there and I can’t wait to meet this next round! Thanks so much for the chance 🙂

  23. I shared and liked the willowing post. I’m an artist, but need to learn how to work with different mediums and techniques. I’m finding myself, a work in progress.   33. Honestly I’d love to win a spot in Lifebook 2016, this past year has been a little difficult for me to keep up with the lessons. I have been down loading them to do in the future. I had a little bump in the road of life this year, I found out that I had cancer. I am now cancer free and I was so blessed to have had great doctors and my families support. Now it’s time to get back in the swing of things, I am working in my studio and teaching. When I saw your work I was very excited, it’s beautiful! Please consider me for Lifeboat 2016. Cheers Debbie

  34. I hope to win a spot in LB beacause I have not the opportunity to buy it yet, so this will be my first time
    There is so much to learn and I like to learn new techniques … for me is it a big wish to learn all the great stuff and the how to do it from all this amazing teachers, so I keep my fingers crossed

  36. I only started doing mixed media art about 15 months ago. I joined LB 2015, and have since grown so much, both artistically and personally. I need to have LB in my life – it gives me something to look forward to – and I can’t really imagine how life would be with no LB in it. So thank you so much for this opportunity to win a seat!

  37. Lifebook 2015 was such a springboard in my artistic journey, and being part of 2016 with so many new teachers can only be wonderful. If I happen to win, I could use the tuition money I have set aside for some new art supplies. Doesnt that sound grand? Can not wait to meet you as a teacher next year, your art is beautiful.

  40. I’d love to win this spot for LifeBook 2016, I participated in 2012 but fell behind due to several personal reasons, I downloaded the lessons in the hope to still do them afterwards but then my computer crashed I lost them all…

  45. I received Life Book 2015 as a Christmas Gift last year, it has changed my life, It makes my spirit soar. I can’t wait for my Monday email to see the new lesson. It’s like Christmas every week. I have never considered myself an artist but Life Book has shown me that I am. Tam and her guest teachers have such gentle and giving spirits, it’s an honor to be able to learn from them. I can’t imagine my life without Life Book. I need this in my life. Thank you for the opportunity to win a spot for this awesome journey called Life Book.
