Life Book 2016 Blog Hop & Give Away!

Hello everyone!

So as I have mentioned in the previous post, I will be teaching on Life Book 2016  next year, yay! This has really been a dream come true.

And what is really exciting news is that I can give away 1 space on this amazing year long art course! Keep reading if you want to find out more about Life Book 2016 and if you want to find out how you can win a spot! 🙂

First let me tell you a bit more about Life Book in case you haven’t heard about it yet!

“Life Book, a celebration and honouring of YOU” is a year-long mixed media art class organised by Tamara Laporte from Willowing Arts.

Tam is joined by 23 incredible art teachers who are all gearing up to share their mixed media techniques, tips and tricks with YOU! Themed around self-development and healing, you’ll be creating several loose mixed media art journal pages per month which by the end of the year you will bind into a glorious journal (a Life Book)! You will have a wonderful keepsake that you can treasure for the rest of your life!

I haven’t fully developed my class idea yet, but I’m excited to be sharing xyz technique/ theme/ style with you, much like you can see in this painting:

Registration opens on October 5th 2015 and the class begins on January 1st 2016.

    Congratulations on being an instructor for LB16!! Your art looks amazing! I would be over the moon thrilled to win a spot!! I am very passionate about art, mixed media and art journaling!     1. How amazing an opportunity to win LB 2016 . I think the best gift you could give yourself is time & energy towards self care & self love through creativity . I have spent years learning & growing through creativity & to be part of LB 2016 would be the ultimate gift .   7. Hi Renata, I’m so excited that you will be teaching this year! I would love to win Lifebook 2016 because I’ve enjoyed Lifebook 2015 so much this year. It’s been so therapeutic for me while I’ve been fighting cancer, so I need to continue, I look forward to it every Monday! I also enjoy the trading card swap! 🙂

I’m getting very excited about the opportunities that will be offered in the Life Book 2016 class as I feel it will help challenge me to be a better artist – especially with all of the wonderful artists that will be offering their expertise! Life Book 2015 has expanded my horizons in so many ways – skills, technique, confidence, growth – and I would love for that to continue for a further year. I love doing life book and I think it’s an advantage for a lot of us who do not have a lot of money like me and Disability and you can make payments which I think that is so sweet of her to do for us that way we all have a chance to have art in our life and to me I think it’s very important it’s sad how so many of us don’t have it because we can’t afford it I hope LIFEBOOK keeps going for a long time

I would be blessed to win a spot, my art journey has only reignited after years bringing up children and believing my art was not important, but I am embracing the talent I have and am running with it, a spot in life books amongst these wonderful people with enthusiasm that is contagious is just what the soul needs.     It would be nice to win the spot because Lifebook is a unique art and human adventure. It gives you the opportunity to be better with yourself and more comfortable in practising your art. With LB, you can also gather a community of creatives souls and have lessons by the greatest mixed media artist.

  42. I have been a huge fan of yours, and love you with the DLP which this has been the first Ive ever attempted with real journaling. I have learned so much. I am so hungry to learn more with mixed media, and all of the artists teaching here on Lifebook 2016 are exactly who I want to learn from. I need this in my life! It is the perfect therapy, outlet, and artistic prompting and education that I need. It’s something that I would purposefully schedule to keep me on task and productive with my own art, esp when life gets you so busy with work and family. I feel that I am finally at that point in my life where I can let my art take flight and this would get me to my liftoff!! Thank you for the chance!

  43. I was a member of Lifebook 2012 and I LOVED it! I am still a novice artist and it gave me so much information on techniques, inspiration, and guidance. It helped mold me. Since then the stars haven’t lined up to allow me to be able to sign up again, but I really hope to be a part of it in 2016!

    How can I express myself to let you know what joy it would be to be able to take a workshop full of the most amazingly creative kindred-spirit artists, without saying it would be an unfolding journey of magical bliss and spiritual connection, to sooth and support not only my soul, but all those who would be on the same journey to connect with at this point in space and time. Well, there, I just expressed it. Words are almost not enough to express the intense visual journey which will present mind-boggling vistas through the depth of how the soul of each artist will create and share their own interpretation of their own life’s experiences. It will be a soul-searching and magical journey.
